March 08, 2005Bio
This trip will take me though all the hemispheres of the world. Major stops include: Ireland (Dublin, Galway), Scotland (Glasgow), Japan (Tokyo), Australia (Sydney, Cairns), finishing up with a two week tour of New Zealand that explores the entire country, beginning in Christchurch and ending in Auckland. After that I will fly back to where I began - San Francisco, California, USA. Originally I was planning a simple tour of the Pacific Rim, until my friend invited me to her wedding in Scotland. Thus my trip morphed into an even more exciting (and extensive) trip around the world. It will be thrilling to see so many new places and to be able to say I have flown around the world. Comments

In Scotland, hope you spot Nessie, for sure see Edinburg castle on top, looking over the city, check out how the author of Harry Potter got her ideas for the academy. We attended a wedding in Edinburg a year and a half ago. Beautiful place. If you can, please, please send us a postcard from Australia and New Zealand. Ferdinand Magellan would be proud! SANE family Joni! I'm so excited for you and the beginning of your trip! You're already there now, and it has all begun. I'll be thinking of you and imaging how wonderful it all is. Let those shamrocks glow and give you that luck of the Irish. I look forward to hearing more of how it's like.
