The Final Countdown Pt I

It is officially 3 months out. Un-freaking-believable! 3 months is kind of that “oh shit” milestone. Every day it the trip is becoming more surreal and REAL at the same time. The non-stop travel dreaming has come to a hault finally but that usually kicks in again about 1 month before I leave.
I am so excited, scared, anxious, relieved, horrified, did I say excited? I’m also sick to my stomach and happy as can be.
This won’t be the last countdown milestone. 3 months, 1 month and then 2 weeks and 1 week are all nights that i’m going to be freaking out.
Am I ready for this? No. I haven’t gotten all my shots, I haven’t gone to the dentist, I haven’t finished saving, I haven’t moved back home yet, I haven’t organized all my research, I have no boots, no walking shoes, no sandals. I do have 3 months though. But is that really enough time?
