Walking to the Lighthouse

Yesterday I decided to take the coastal walk to the light house and the most easterly point of Australia.

Catherine and I started walking about 11am. The sun was very hot and we had to do a 2km walk - what a pair of nutters!! The walk was lovely but we had to walk up; what seamed to be a thousand steps. It was bloody knackering I can tell you!!

The walk lasted a good few hours. By the time I got back to the beach all I could do was read my book and sleep. I had to be fit for the evening!!! ;-)

your experiences of Australia sound really amazing. I was there for the winter, and I satyed in Sydney, Surfer's Paradise and Cairns. Are you planning on going to Syndey at all? It's really a great city
