The flight to Penang was very good. I had 4 spare seat next to me so I could lay down if i wished - which I did, and I got 3-4 hours sleep!!

I arrived in Penang in the afternoon of Wednesday 9th March. As soon as the plane landed I could feel the heat. I was still wearing my trousers which I wish I could take off.
When I reached the hotel, it all felt a bit weired at first as I have never been on holiday on my own before. Holidaying and backpacking I can only assume that it is totally different.
Anyway feeling ok now - I have meet up with a few people. One being a couple from Melbourne and an old couple being from Cheshire. The old couple I think I need mothering which is quite sweet. They gave me cearal bars and a packet of dried apricots. Ahhhh!!
