September 26, 2005sawat-dee!!
That means hello in thai!! I'm in Thailand, about to head into the jungle for three days!! we'll be visiting the northern hill tribes and staying with them overnight. today is approx. a 3 hour trek, and tomorrow is about 5 hours and then we ride elephants for an hour and a half! then, the next day, if the river is low enough, we will take bamboo rafts down the rapids and waterfalls and such until we get to the final village where we then either meet the car or walk out to meet it. Can't wait! also incredibly frightened... much love! Posted by Janice K on September 26, 2005 12:24 PM
