July 24, 2005Phase Four: Transition Travelling
We're winding down. We learned from the Pro-Dive adventure that you've got to come down slowly, not all at once, or else it takes a lot of pain to figure out the transition. So, we're headed off to the Blue Mountains this weekend, before classes start. We stayed in Sydney long enough to move into my room (I'll post pictures of it as soon as I'm able!), go on an all day quest for a dunner (translation: comforter. found a cover for $10 and a quilt for $15!), update the blog a little bit, go to physio and get a bit of shopping done. We left this afternoon to head up to the Blue Mountains-- pretty exciting because we're taking the train this time rather than a car. It's only 2 hours away and the train takes us right smack into Katoomba, gateway tot eh bushwalks in the Blue Mountains. It's a gorgeous, warm day in Sydney, and the weekend looks pretty promising-- I feel somewhat bad, though, because Adam, Katie, and Caroline are coming back today and they were wondering what I'd be up to tonight. Sounds like they ahd a good time in Tassie though. (I wish I'd been able to meet up with them!) Posted by Janice K on July 24, 2005 04:58 PM
