This journey is something I have been wanting to do ever since I came back from my first overseas trip in 2002 (ok ok! so I started late!)

The 16-day Contiki trip I went on was definitely not long enough (the jetlag lasted longer) and didn't quench my thirst of Europe or travel in general...soooo, after a lot of thinking (and spraining of brain cells) I decided to meet up with a friend in Ireland.

Accompanied by a working Visa (and not enough money, I'm sure) I am hoping to have a fun filled, Castle filled, Guinness filled learning adventure by working in Ireland and travelling around Europe.

I will really miss my family and the comforts and joys of home and will miss some of my friends, but this is something that I have to do. I might stay six months...I might stay one, who knows?

Scared yet excited, the journey for me begins soon...
