John and I decided to abandon Zurich early despite the fact that it is a beautiful city. We were melting. Zurich is presently under a malaise of humid weather, which was at its most intense in our hotel room. John and I barely slept, so we zipped to Bern, where it is still hot, but we are cooler, and we took a long afternoon nap and then ate Toblerone chocolate in the evening. Can't you tell I'm tired?
