Aha, where is Billinge?

It's outside Wigan, and our base for the rest of the week. We opted to spend a whole week here to see friends and visit old haunts, and my grandmother's funeral celebrations will be observed at the end of this week.

This is kind of a boring entry for those not here, but rest assured, I'm having a good time. Activities have included:

watching the FA Cup final in the Hare and Hounds (John's favourite pub)

watching John get pissed as a fart in the Hare and Hounds (why it's John's favourite pub)

visiting the Burkes, presently living here (well, in Upholland) but fancy themselves prospective Canadians

rugby league matches

the imminent arrival of my mother!!!!

We are also preparing for the trip to Istanbul shortly. *very very excited*
