Made it back to the beach this weekend and had a sweet time. Went down to Marbella, this sort of posh, yuppie, seaside town where all these rich Euro and American tourist hang. Usaully not the type of place I would go, but it was really cool anyway. Only got 1 day of sunshine though. First day we got there, sun was shining and the weather was sweet. Layed out, got a bit of a tan. Next day, rain and clouds. But we still really enjoyed ourselves. And of course Travis had to have one of his classic travelling moments by busting up his toe. Walking down the marble street with his cheap Thai-made flip-flops in the rain can be quite slippery and dangerous. He took a digger and got the worst stubbed toe ever. Blood everywhere. So, with my hand and his toe, Score 1 to 1.

After a few days in Marbella Trav and I headed to Granada for a day. An awsome, mountain town in South Spain with a huge Moroccan influence. Not to mention a huge hippie influence! I haven´t seen so many dread locks in my entire life. Everywhere we went there were packs and packs of hippies, thousands upon thousands of them. Drum circles at every plaza and city park and joints being rolled at local resturants. Crazy place, but the most beautiful city I´ve seen in Spain so far.

I also had the best food day ever.
breakfast: churros and chocolate with fresh OJ
lunch: seafood soup with huge amounts of mussles, shrimp and whitefish for cheap.
dinner: cañas and tapas for .75 cents-cheap!
dinner 2: falafel
after dinner snack: real Italian gelato
