Sorry I've been such a slacker when it comes to updating my travels. Anyway though, After my time in China I made it to Hong Kong with Elin and Karin. Awsome city, totally modern and clean and an amazing skyline! The only problem is if you don't have a ton of money to go shopping, after a day or two there really isn't much to do. Still though very cool and definantly worth a vist.
After Hong Kong for a couple of days I was off to the Philippines with my good friends Gerbon and Marron. What an awsome country it was! Some of the most friendly people I have ever met in my life and the most beautiful beaches.
And since I don't like to write here are some pictures instead.

Oh, and it's okay that i'm not gonna be home for the 4th because last night I went back up to Victoria Peak for the view at night and they had a firework show over the city. Awsome!!

So, I've been to quite a few countries before and the one thing they all seem to have all in common is dogs. Wether it be first, second or third world countries you see dogs. Dogs on leashes, scraggly, rabid dogs in packs on the street and nice clean friendly dogs too. but, in China I've seen very, very few dogs?

Okay. Let's see, after 4 days on the train with a very smelly Russian family, 2 cold nights in Siberia at Lake Bikal, 1 more day on the train helping my Mongolian roommates smuggle German baby lotion from Russia to their homeland. I finally made it to Mongolia- The Land of Blue Sky. And that is where I've been for the last 10 days.
Actually, I've been bouncing around the back of a gnarly Russian style minivan, from the Gobi to the mountains for 1844 kms on dirt roads. And it was so sweet!
Myself and 3 Dutch people I met on the train- Gerbin, Marron and Jasper, along with our awsome Mongolian driver, Otgo all took on this mighty 9 day adventure and how sweet it was.
We saw thousands of my favorite animal, the camel, and even got to ride one through the sand dunes. We also rode horses to a beautiful waterfall (even though it was all dried up). We've eaten way, way too much mutton (not good) and I also got to eat my favorite animal (very good). We got to sleep in many gers (yurt) in the beautiful countryside. And I almost broke my neck when Otgo hit a huge bump going about 80ks and I smashed my head into the celing. Oh yeah, that was the same moment our breaks went out. And I've met many wonderful Mongolian families.
So the country had been absolutly wonderful and I wish I could stay longer but I can't. Tomorrow I'm off to China.

What up all! Had a sweet time in London for 2 weeks with Travis. Pretty much did 3 or 4 walking tours of the city seems like, so I know my way around. And ate like a king, Indian, Pakistani, Chilean,Vietnamese, Chinese, Turkish, Greek ,English and McDonalds. Nery Nice.
Now I've arrived in Moscow and eveything is going good. Except it freakin snowed on me yesterday while I was walking around Red Square! How can it still be this cold? Just chillin', checkng out St. Basils Chathedral and it started to blizzard outside so I had to duck into McDonalds for a bit of warmth and a Royal With Cheese :)
Getting here sort of started out as a pain too but in the end was sweet. I missed my connecting flight in Frankfurt because Heathrow airport sucks. So, I had to get on a later flight which wasn't going to arrive here until 11 pm. I was all worried about how I'd get into the city because by that time the metro is closed. Anyway, I ended up sitting next to an American Marine from Cheyenne who works here guarding the embassy and offered to give me a lift into town. So right off the plane we get to cruise through costoms with ease because he has a diplomat passport. That was sweet. Then his driver meets us with a freakin' armored van and I got a free lift with a military escort. Awsome!
So all is good and cold but I'm totally diggin' it. And I met some awsome peeps from south Russia last night at my hostal who forced me to try some "real Russian Vodka" :)

Made it back to the beach this weekend and had a sweet time. Went down to Marbella, this sort of posh, yuppie, seaside town where all these rich Euro and American tourist hang. Usaully not the type of place I would go, but it was really cool anyway. Only got 1 day of sunshine though. First day we got there, sun was shining and the weather was sweet. Layed out, got a bit of a tan. Next day, rain and clouds. But we still really enjoyed ourselves. And of course Travis had to have one of his classic travelling moments by busting up his toe. Walking down the marble street with his cheap Thai-made flip-flops in the rain can be quite slippery and dangerous. He took a digger and got the worst stubbed toe ever. Blood everywhere. So, with my hand and his toe, Score 1 to 1.
After a few days in Marbella Trav and I headed to Granada for a day. An awsome, mountain town in South Spain with a huge Moroccan influence. Not to mention a huge hippie influence! I haven´t seen so many dread locks in my entire life. Everywhere we went there were packs and packs of hippies, thousands upon thousands of them. Drum circles at every plaza and city park and joints being rolled at local resturants. Crazy place, but the most beautiful city I´ve seen in Spain so far.
I also had the best food day ever.
breakfast: churros and chocolate with fresh OJ
lunch: seafood soup with huge amounts of mussles, shrimp and whitefish for cheap.
dinner: cañas and tapas for .75 cents-cheap!
dinner 2: falafel
after dinner snack: real Italian gelato

Hi everyone. I´ve been back in madrid for a few days now, pretty much just hanging around and not doing too much at all. Dana had to go back to work this week and Travis is busy doing things for school so I´ve spent the last few days just chilling around Danas flat and checking out the places in her hood. Today I´m gonna head in to the city center to check out some of the more touristy things in the city.
We had a pretty sweet Easter and I hope everyone else did as well. Danas sister in the states sent her the awsome, paws easter egg coloring kit which kept us quite entertained and Travis whipped up a pasta dinner with salad and vino tinto, while I just layed around on the couch being lazy.
Monday Dana and I took the bus to Segovia where she lived for a bit her first time to Spain 4 years ago. Pretty nice small town with a cool castle and the biggest aquaduct in Europe.
Thursday night we´re gonna take a night bus back to the south again for the weekend to pick up a bit more sun before Trav and I head to London.
I´m trying now to figure out how I can get some pictures posted, but this stupid computer is being soooo slow. Hopfully I can get some up soon though.
I have a wonderful pic of my hand right after I about de-boned my finger when Trav and I were having a late-night high jump contest in Almeria. One to many Cañas that night.

What up everybody! Ah yes, landed in Madrid Tuesday afternoon met up with Trav and Dana and cruised straight down to the beach. We´re having a sweet time just chillin´getting into the swing of things. It´s been so long since I´ve been on a long trip, I still feel sort of out of it though. Anyway, Almeria is a sweet place down here on the Med Sea we spent the day yesterday laying on the beach and I got just what I wanted... a little tan and some sun before I head to colder climates. I´m heading back up to Madrid tomorrow but we´ll probably come back to the beach again next weekend.
For now though it´s all good. Eaten some sweet tapas, nice bebidas and my spanish skills suck. So Spain is sweet.
