Well I guess Dr. Negative was right. I ended up getting much sicker than expected however. Pancreatitis, 8 1/2 days in the hospital, 103.5 temp, no eating for a week, surgery, 3 weeks away from work, and a postponed trip to Europe. Heaven on earth.

I suppose I should be thankful that all of this didn't take place while exploring the world. the language barrier could have been a problem and I definitely need all of my limbs and organs.
