I'm a 22 year old recent college grad from the USA. I have been playing sports and going to school my whole life and now that I am finished, I don't really know what to do with myself. So, now seemed an appropriate time to do something radically different (for me) and go see some other parts of the world. This is my first solo trip and I am both excited and scared to be striking off on my own to such a far away place as SE Asia.

The "plan" is to fly into Bangkok and then wander around for seven months, eating Thai food, learning to scuba dive and whatever else takes my fancy. Basically, not very much of a plan at all... which freaks me out sometimes because I have always been one to plan things out in advance. And since I can't stay in Thailand legally for seven months, and I'm gonna be on that side of the world anyway, I'd also like to visit Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia while I am over there.
