A step into the unknown

Having left the uk on March 31st and arriving in NZ on the 2nd April its been pretty manic. The day after arriving had job interview and offered a job. Started the following Thursday ( part 2 of Easter week). Im now based in wellington and working in Miramar not far from the airport. I have moved into Queens drive Lyall bay where there are now 5 sets of cousins. Been kept busy with wrestling,rugby,drinking,

NZ has great people so now finding time to update the blog i will let you know.

3 days to go before departing blighty.The shipping is now done and its hopefully somewhere on a boat heading for NZ.
The last few weeks have been saying goodby to people which as been fun but also difficult especially with family.
They are all understanding and supportive.Iam lucky that i have good family/friends in Wellington which will make the stay a lot easier.I knew that it would not be easy but as the departure day is getting closer it becomes harder
The car has now been sold and there are a few loose ends to do which wont take long.

Today the house went onto the market.From here the plan starts for a change.
At some point over the next few months i will move to New Zealand to start a new life there.Early stage at the moment and no fixed date but once the sale is completed the move will happen quickly.

03.02.07 its a few months now down the line since i set up the site and put my 1st post.
Since then the house has been sold to my neigbough as a private sale.I moved back to my folks just before xmas and am now house sitting as they are in NZ for 6weeks.
The morgage is paid up and almost all my debts have been paid.The last few will be done this month.

The flight has been booked for 31st March and will arrive in Wellington on the 2nd of April.

Shipping is now being sorted and as i will be taking very little with me i wont be in to much of a hurry to get the itiems over.Clothing will go as excess or arrive couple days later.
As for jobs there are a quite a few in retail in the Wellington area so will look when arrive.I have also asked to be transfered from my current company ( leave end of the month) who have a contract at Wellington airport.See what happens.

It is starting to dawn on me what iam doing but have no regrets about it.
