Your thoughts about having a 'home' to go back to ring a strong bell.

My longest time away from home was three years backpacking. And much as I loved that adventure, I'd do it differently this time - I'd make sure I had a home to return to. On that trip, I let go of my apartment and car, and pretty much shut down my ties to home before leaving. While I was on the road, that sense of home is the one thing I really missed.

So it's wise and wonderful to make sure you have that to go back to. And looking forward to reading whatever I've missed of this amazing blog!
