Two photos

gerrynisarafting.JPG

We spent 3 days white water rafting down the Kaligandari river. Like a rollercoaster on water, we spend 5 hrs a day trying to keep our raft afloat as we sped down the boiling waters of Nepals holy river. It was great fun but so very cold! Even though we didn't roll over it didn't stop is from getting soaked by the freezing river that runs off the alpine peaks. The helmets look ridiculous!

shave.JPG

The big shave was some experience. Not only did I get a first class hot towel wet shave, I also got a hair cut and a head, neck, shoulders and back massage. At one stage I was bent over the barbers counters, t-shirt over my head, back greased up and the barber dong his damnest to ease those aching muscles. And there's no door on these boutiques! I was in this comprimising position for more than a half an hour, in full view of the passers by. Wonder what they made off it all. Lucky the t-shirt was hiding my face!

Thanks for all the comments. Difficult to get around to emailing everyone. Already spending too much time in the internet cafes here. Blog is so time consuming. Easier to write when things go crazy. With Nepal it's all too beautiful and easy to write anything gritty. Photos give better idea of what we're experiencing.

It seems like Nepal more than made up for the dodgy experiences in India. Your photo's are amazing. You look steady on your feet standing on the bridge and with achey knees! I am experiencing vertigo just looking at the photo!
Mylie is just home from Thailand. He thought it was fab and hopes to return.
He had a great massage over there.Want me to ask him for the contact details? Would help ease the muscles or so he says..ha ha! Good luck on the next leg.Take care.Sue and Decy xxxx
