Hello my sweethearts...

Just a quick update here. I am on Ton Sai Beach in the Krabi Province of southern Thailand. It is truly wonderful with beautiful beaches, a very relaxed atmosphere, and of course majestic limestone cliffs towering above. This morning I started my first day of climbing on real rock since "the accident" back in early August which left me with a torn peninsular longus tendon and some shredded ligaments in my right foot. I was delighted to discover that I am still climbing in the 6b/6c range (5.10+) and got throguh seven routes today on East Railey Beach. Beautiful! Bouldering tomorrow...I met a great Filipino-American from Bishop, CA who set most of the problems.

I spent the last week in Bangkok hanging out with Stefano (who is supposed to be joining me here tomorrow), drinking and partying. Now it's time to get strong and healthy again. I plan on staying here for a good 10-12 days, barring injury, then it's off to Ko Pang-Ngan for the full-moon party before returning to Bangkok. I will post a new entry chock full of pictures (and a surprise for some of you who know me best, heh, heh, heh...never say never is all I'm telling at this point) at that time, but for now, I can't afford to spend too long on the internet (F#$@KIN" EXPENSIVE here, dude!!!).
