Round the World ’06-’07

Had a day off work today to go to the Vietnamese Embassy in London. £42 for 1 month tourist visa seemed a little expensive, but seeing as i can’t go without one I’ll just have to live with it!! Sould be receiving my passport back on the 6th Feb. Getting very excited now, and spending all my spare time on travelling websites, and reading guide books. Roll on the 13th!!

Just booked my ticket tonight.
The plan at the moment is to fly to Hanoi on 13/3 , and overland to Singapore, via HCMC, Cambodia, Thailand and Malasia, taking around 3 months. Then Flying in to Perth in June, Working and traveling in OZ for 5 months then 2 months in New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, LA then driving up the coast to San Fransisco, taking a couple of weeks. Then Flying home, all in just under a year.
Getting very excited, just a little daunted by the amount left to plan!
