Eastbound: 1 Man, No Plan

Hi everyone,

Just had a few Duvels, without any doubt the best beer in the world next to Hapkin, so probably it would be wise not to write too many bizarre stuff here…

But I must admit: I’m quite excited having my very personal Travel Blog up and running! Exactly two months from the start of my journey, it feels like things the pieces are finally falling into place
Not too much to say right now, but as this is a bit of a “test blog entry”, I’ll just post the invitation to my “goodbye party” here… No idea how it’s going to look, but anyway:

As from the language side: my mother (yes! I’m one of those people that actually listens to what a mother has to say) told me she wouldn’t really like it if I’d write everything in English here - as opposed to Dutch, my mother tongue.

At this time of the night, I can’t really decide on that, but I guess you’ll see how things are evolving. For one thing, the party invitation is in Dutch (admitted: you might be inclined to call it “middle-ages dutch” or sth like that). Anyway: if one of you thinks he or she can convince me to write in either Dutch or English, go ahead! (errr… French and German are the other candidates, but then you’ll have to make a really strong case ;-))
