Hi Erik, I was in rain soaked Vancouver for a few days, and it did rain. Some reports said to expect something like 300mm from this storm over the next few days. Seeing people driving in the rain, through puddles (not getting through puddles and the car starts to float), did suggest some drivers in Van were not very good. Was to get home Tuesday but all flights to Castlegar were cancelled. Re-booked for a flight Wednesday morning. We flew over Castlegar and then to Penticton and then a 4 1/2 hour bus ride to Castlegar. (I guess it was all very deluxe compared to your travel...) Got up at 5:30 AM and rolled into New Denver about 4:30 PM. I guess I'm just glad to get home. Nice to get updated from you. Take care! |
