So far the weather here has been fantastic. A report a few days ago might have highlighted the largish fluffy white cloud that blocked the sun for a few minutes one day. As so it seemed that this was truly paradise...

Today I woke to find the skies above grey. There was a chilled wind blowing through my resort, and the pages of my book fluttered as I ate my rice and eggs. Soon specks of water began to hit the sand, leaving dark imprints. I managed to make it to the centre of White Beach before the real rain would start, though. Whew! is it pouring right now.

And you thought the weather was bad back home! (I did hear a recent report of -47C in Whitehorse, but it seemed too foreign so I ignored it).
