October 25, 2004Oh By the Way
It's October the 25th, 2547 here. 643year, 14hours ahead of Pacific Time... Comments
Hi Erik, We are home for 3 days before going off to the coast again. The car is not 'running-like-a-top" and it seems the sparkplugs and/or wires need to be replaced... tomorrow. We were driving the connector close to Merritt when poof, the back window shattered into thousands of pieces. The roads were bare and dry, no idea of what happened to it... The weather was OK but looked threatening down the Coquihalla, so we went to Merritt, bought some duct tape and put some plastic over it. We called John and he found a place in Langley to have it replaced. Picked up a courtesey car and I was still mobile. Julia, Morgan and Judy stayed with John and I went to the conference, staying with Coopers. Thanks for the interesting fact. Kinda cool because i am studying medieval Asia right now. |
