Brent you know youre really not doing much for your image as super-cool rock star here...I thought it (your image) might be able to be saved but what with the scientific commentary and now the StarWars quotes to top it off.....
Must..Refrain...From..Teasing..Geek.

Hey Em

I was kinda envisaging these massive holes Kilometres inland. Looks like your taking what we in the risk management industry call " the better safe than sorry" approach and getting the hell off the island :) Hope things are OK and you find yourself a new job and exciting places to explore.

Eurovision sounds scary!

Anyhoo off to see epsiode III now (exciting!!)

May the force be with you

Yeah there were a few problems with posting but the powers that be have sorted it all out....I think BnA have made a few changes which may explain why things look funny - but they look fine to me...

CousinRyumi, thanks for the post.(sorry bout the late reply) I havent been to any of those places though may be very near to the burren next week but I'll definitely add them to my list - thanks! And if youre talking bout the weather, I totally understand the love/hate thing...
I'll check out your site sometime.

And dear Brent, ever the inquisitive science geek, the puffing holes are maybe 10 metres, and then 30 metres inland from memory... Is that good or bad? Will we take off and float into the sunset never to be seen? Im pretty sure I couldnt spend a lifetime with these 800 islanders so a calculated estimate of time of breakaway by a knowledgeable geek such as yourself would be appreciated. Just to give me a headsup. And I guess they might be amazing from a scientific point of view but really, theyre just big holes...seen one big hole seen em all right?

And to everyone, hang in there, should be a much needed update coming your way in next couple of days - just waiting for a break in the madness.

Brent attempts to cast aspersions on inishmoor take 2.

Hi Em

Tried to post this last week and it wouldn't let me :(

What I was trying to say was, those puffing hole things sound amazing. How far inland are they?? Sounds like its not really and Island more of a floating lump of limestone loosely anchored to the seabed :)

>

Anyways paranoia aside keep up the blogging. have fun on your adventures. And yes practice good cliff safety like your grandad said (assuming Tom is your grandad).

Hi there, I just found your blog by accident.
So you are in Ireland, a country in which I spent alot of time. I have a love\hate relationship with Ireland.
I am currently in Japan. Come visit my site:
http://cousinryumi.typepad.com

Try not to get washed away by the wind and rain on the Atlantic coast.
Have you been to New Grange yet? Amazing. Go to sligo and see the oldest megalithic graveyard in Europe and climb Queen Meabh's grave and don't forget the Burren!!!!

Well Ro you know you're most welcome to come visit anytime - as are the rest of you. You can sleep on the spare bed in my shed - cos I have a shed now. Sorry about the delay, and may be a bit longer before the next entry - Ive had a busy few days back on the mainland and kinda busy here at the hostel at the mo. But I will be back and I promise you more photos. Promise.
