rain? what's that? i haven't seen that in ages! is that still around? i remember it once...when i was back in Vancouver but i haven't seen that stuff in ages!

it rained heavily yesterday. i haven't seen rain in many, many days. reminded me of home.

'basic' television here in australia consists of 4 channels (i think). for some reason i am able to watch 5 channels...but 3 of them show the same program. hmph. defeats the purpose don't you reckon?

saw a man walking his 2 horses the other day as i was walking to work. wonder if that's like walking your dogs here in the outback.

diagnolly across the street from where i live is an empty lot. for the past two days there have been 3 horses there. a black, a chocolate and a whitish one. reminded me of nardy's lab retrievers. the chocolate one had a white spot on his forehead in btwn his eyes. he stood tall and proud. i'm wondering where the camels are kept. apparently around this time they start training the camels for the July 'Camel races'! suppose to be spectacular!
