I am a Third Grade teacher from Indianapolis, Indiana. I applied for a travel grant hoping to spend a month in Ireland on someone else's dime. I poured every bit of energy I had into that crazy thing only to be rejected. Well, I didn't give up, I decided I was going to Ireland no matter what it took! I think I have babysat every kid I know at least 10 times and sold so much stuff on eBay, I am known at the post office by name! I am doing this trip my way and on my terms. I don't need no stinking grant money!
