Well it's been quite a while since I've typed a new entry. In fact an entire leg of trip has lapsed (Granada, Andalucia). Back in Barca now and it feels good. I've been bouncing around betweena few different hostels here an ended up in a bizarre new one called "New Hostel" appropirately enough. However since it's name an reputation haven't been established I'm dubbing it the "Anarchy Hostel Ramblas" and hoping it sticks. There's enough smoke in the common room for a Kiss concert pyrotechnician circa '78. But that's just the start of it....

I'm hanging out with a 15 year deliquent from the UK who's a skate prodigy in the EU arena. He's a little wanker from the east coast of England and within a few hours of knowing him I was hiding from the Barcelona police in a dark hostel bathroom with the door locked and my ear pressed against. I waited til the deep Catalan voices disappeared from the air to creep back out to find Ryan Carr had caused everyone to have to pay a whopping 130 euros for dumping piss (beer) on an innocent bystander from the balcony. This is what goes on in a hostel with no rules and no name in the New Europe. IAnd I forgot to mention no management, hence the Anarchy name. Good times.
