Busua is about 4 hrs west of Accra and features one of the most picturesque stretches of sand in west Africa. There's even a little 2 palm tree island out in the cove that, according to locals, was a gift from God, but resembles something out of a Hollywood set. After Josh and I spent a couple days there in June I knew that if I got back to Ghana, I'd head to Busua.

The weather, water and bikinis cooperated swimmingly for four days. I leave Accra for Nairobi tomorrow and will arrive only a couple days before Kenya's independence day, whatever that involves.
