December 15, 2004another Journey
We woke up today with the plan of going back to Phnom Penh and volunteering for 5 days, teaching in a school. But we couldn’t reach the contact so after breakfast we decided to head back to Bangkok. It was all a mad rush as we decided at 11.30 and the boat was leaving at 12pm. We said a quick goodbye and got on a minibus that took us to the port. The boat took 3 hours to reach Ko Kong, the border with Thailand. As the boat moored it was like a mad freezing frenzy, all the touts were jumping on and grabbing us, desperate for us to get in their taxi across the bridge. Comments
