I slept for 12 hours last night. I was just so relaxed on the island. But also looking forward to getting back to civilasation! We arrived back at the Suk 11 at 11pm. It was heaven to have a warm shower a clean toilet, clean clothes and clean feet! After a shower on the island you slip on your flip flops and walk in sand again so your feet are constantly coated in sand. It was good to clean the cut on my foot and wear socks and trainers! My eye is nearly back to normal (for those that don't know the blood vessels burst in my eye and the white of my eye was bright red). Ohm thought it was great. He couldn't speak much english but what he did say was 'your eye is cool,man'. To the thais it must be strange to see blue eyes anyway but with also being red it caused a lot of attention.
I felt homesick at times this weekend. Being with people from different countries and cultures is hard but I have learnt so much and that is why I am travelling - to spend 5 months with english people wouldn't be the same. Although I will be seeking them out at Christmas x
