From Chamado to Chapada

This national park is a must if you have a few months in Brasil. The whole area is covered in quartz crystal and has a very powerful energy. The waterfalls and canyons are breathtaking and the local flora is very interesting. I especially liked the miniture coconuts. Yum.

I went to the park with my friend Kris from the USA that I met at Chamado and the Cariocas. We had a great time swimming and following our crazy guide Joe off huge ledges into the rushing water below. Some of the ledges were so high and I was scared until one of the girls from Rio, Joanna, climbed up and jumped off. Then I had to do it, of course, even though I was scared shitless. It was about 20 metres high!

Being at the parque was a great little rest before I headed of on my travels again. I was preparing to go and see the renouned healer “Joćo de Deus”. Once of the side effects of the spontaneous mad dash to this part of Brasil was that I was now within four hours of Abadiania, where Joćo works his magic.

I was talking about it with everyone and Monica, one of the Carioca girls told me she was going to see another Psychic Surgeon near Brasilia called “Valentino”. She asked me if I wanted to go with her and I said “you bloody bet I do”. It was exciting, I didn’t even know about Valentino. Apparently he was good. I was up for any opportunity to see great healers in action. Especially Psychic surgeons.

After a great few days swimming under powerful waterfalls and relaxing, I headed to Brasilia with Monica. We spent the night in Brasilia and in the morning got a local bus to “Gama” a town an hour away where Valentino does his stuff.
