And the next country on the Dream Trip is…

After staying with Susan for a month, I headed to Virginia for a 3 week Professional Rebirther Training at Leonard Orr“s Training centre in the Appalachian Mountains. It was similar to California, just longer and more thorough and with a much smaller group of people. I may write more about this time in the future but my blogs about California give a fair idea of what I experienced in Virginia.

After Virginia I had 2 weeks left on my US Visa. I was running out of time in the country that I had initially wanted to avoid. 2 weeks left, whatever shall I do. The hopeless romantic in me stepped forward and said “Go back to Minneapolis you fool”. So thats exactly what I did. I had another great time with Susan and we fell even further in love. Then decided to make a clean break from each other not wanting to leave pieces of ourselves at other ends of the planet. We trust that we will be together in the future if that is what is meant to happen. Now is just not the right time for either of us. But as Colleen said “Real connections last”.

More detours on the Dream Trip

After quite an intense time at “Return to the Sacred” I headed to Portland, Oregon with Aaron and Linda, two people from Portland who were at the retreat. I spent a week in Portland, not doing much at all really, just relaxing and exploring Portland. Very cool city…and I thought I didn’t like the USA.

Finally after a week in Portland swearing I wouldn’t chase women around the world anymore, I bought a flight to Minnepolis. Being a backpacker without a plan and a hopeless romantic isn’t necessarily a harmonious combination. Being with Susan though is definitely part of my path though I am sure of that.
