Held Hostage in Mexico…by Fish Tacos

Monday, May 16th, 2005

I’ll have to leave Ensenada soon before I die of heart disease. Fried fish tacos have me by the short and curlies. I am a five a day guy at present. They are so YUMMY. With home made salsa and Guacomole. It must be hell for all the people who come to this part of the world for treatment because they know they can’t have fish tacos. Perhaps if there were no fish tacos the Hoxsey clinic would be even more successful!! They are oh so tempting and three are never enough. Good thing I am leaving on Tuesday for Northern California.

After Hoxsey I headed to Ensenada only to find THE BEST Hostel en todo el Mundo. El Hostel Sauzal in El Sauzal just north of Ensenada run by the incomparable Maria who charges only $15 but makes you a fully gourmet breakfast with a capital met every day. Today she made Tortilla Espanol (Spanish Omlette) with Onions, cheese and Cactus!! que buenisimo!
