Vamos a ver.

More in english...

I do not believe that I will be in Costa Rica for just 3 more weeks! I thought about it today when the cleaning lady in the house asked me how much time I was going to be here. Who knows? I might find work here to get better at spanish. Just when I start to get the hang of things, I have to go!! We will see.

I have had another week of work in the schools here, but primary at the public school. I have really enjoyed working with the kids here. They are kids, just like everywhere, with bad attitudes and good attitudes. I have worked the most with a group of 4th graders. I meet with them 2 days a week for 2 hours each day. It is a small group. Not everyone comes all the time, but there should be 10, but the past few times, I have had only 6 and then 4 (today). But this is the best way. They are behind in english class, and as we all know, it is ideal to have as much attention as you can in a class. We practice saying you are welcome and my name is and the days of the week. It has been work preparing for the classes, but at the same time, fun, because I am able to use different bits of knowledge about learning a language and teaching.

Culture shock hit for about 2-3 weeks, but now, I am not sure, but I think that things are better. There are beautiful flowers in the gardens of the neighborhood where I am living. Blue, pink, red and others.

I have to go now, but love to all of you. Thank you for following me here.

Co, me alegro mucho de leer lo que tu hes escribido. If I remember correctly, this says "I am very happy to read what you have written." It sounds like you are doing a great job with the kids. What a wonderful opportunity to use what you have learned, and for you to be on the other side of the language-learning experience. We miss you, but we are excited that you are having such an enriching time.

I love you very much!

C'est triste! (French, "it's sad"). I know it's hard leaving a place that you've grown to love, but I'm glad that you'll be coming home soon.
