Well, I am on the last leg of my trip, it seems an appropriate way to end it. I am now in Bogota, Colombia visiting one of my best friends who lives here. We became friends in college, but she had to come back here last year.

Los encontramos!! We went to Parque Nacional with one main goal in mind: to find the monkeys, and find them we did. No, but seriously, we went there primarily for the beach and the sun, but the monkeys were definately a priority.

Monteverde-- Green Mountain. Se parece Vermont, pienso yo. Tiene el mismo significado. Montañas verdes, árboles en todo lado. Pero, los carreteras son terribles! Bump, bump, bump!

On Monday, April 18 (the birthday of my mom, happy bday mom!) Maribel and I headed out to La Fortuna, the touristy town near Volcán Arenal.

I was looking at the blog of another person on Bootsnall.com and I noticed how he had an entry about his 5 most embarassing moments in Costa Rica. Well, I figured that I would write some before I forget. Some are just straight up embarassing, and others are just moments of uncomfortablity.

Last Sunday, my friend Maribel came to visit me here in Costa Rica. We had a really nice time traveling around and visiting different places, but everything went by so fast.
