We fly out tomorrow! I can't believe the trip is already upon us. We bought the plane tickets back in August which seems like forever ago. One last trip to REI this morning for some sunglasses and I think I'm ready. It sounds like Diana is having a hard time concentrating at work (that's why I took this week off) and I'm sure Karen and Sal are, too. We will all meet at the airport in MSP tomorrow, then let the adventure begin. Thank you to everyone who has given us info, advice, books, shit, maps, digital camera (mom and dad), time off without pay, and other helpful and/or entertaining tidbits. Thanks, too, to the people at BnA who are hosting this blog and have helped answer many questions (and have even published stories about some of my other adventures on their website). I will try my hardest to update this blog and post photos, but if for some reason I don't, it means we are having too much damn fun to worry about it! Stay tuned.....
