It finally feels like vacation even though we have seen some remarkable sights, we have been craving big sky, sun and sand.
Camping right on the beach at a great state park. Regrouping for today then heading on out to Brownsville, TX. tomorrow and Mexican crossing on Thanksgiving day!
Enjoying the comfort of English speakers and directions, not to mention water and bathrooms.

Looks like the weather has finally turned around for you. We actually had to wear jeans two days last week and were thinking that it would have been nice if you’d left the Vermont weather there instead of bringing it with you!
Seriously, it looks great and we’re thinking that you should finally be out of the snow ….

Wow, sun and sand…..that’s what I would be looking for right about now! Glad you guys made it to that portion of your trip. I agree the south is wonderful, but it is almost December and I’d be craving warmer weather too. You especially would if you were back home in VT the past week. Brrrrrr….
So that will be a landmark date, Thanksgiving, crossing into Mexico in the ye ol “home on wheels”. Maybe you’ll have a fish taco & cerveza to celebrate! We will celebrate thanksgiving on Sunday with my mom….due to the unfortunate scheduling at my job. It’s okay….it will be quite a blessing for the people I work for, for me to be there.
