I didn't get called a deadbeat but I think I heard "nerd" a couple of times...But like you he spoke of our latest trip upon returning and would like to head off to another beach resort next year (when he was a kid an "exploring" vacation like Vancouver was fun, but now it's boring - at 14 my son seems more interested in all-inclusive beach/sports packages.
