Vagabonding begins!

One Nikon DSLR camera + lens + spare battery + case – $670
One Sony handicam with infrared nightvision + tapes + FW cable – $320

I picked up some very cool video equipment for this spring break assignment, but ouch! This is a big change from the small, beat up, duct taped, Nikon Coolpix that I stick in my front pocket for backpacking. Now I am traveling heavy. Now I am a thief magnet. It will be a learning experience, no doubt.

After all my purchases, my compensation for this trip will pretty much be a tan and a good adventure to remember…..
