Well if I’m stuck in the US at the moment, I might as well spend the time in one of my favorite cities in the world - Chicago!
Somehow, I have managed to land an interview with a production company that wants a travel writer for a TV show about different cultures in the US. The timing couldn’t be better, because I was about to start focusing on some articles about “traveling without leaving home”….which fits my situation at the current moment.
I’m not entirely convinced that I belong droning in front of a camera, but when opportunity softly rasps at the door, you don’t look through the peephole and think about life first, you warmly embrace it and kiss it on each cheek. And so this Friday, I shall do just that.
Worst case scenario - I get to meet some interesting people in the business, wander around my favorite city, and hear some proper Blues that night. Its a win - win! ![]()
I don't normally get into these things, but I have some strong feelings about China and the Tibet situation. Beware, I have decided to vent my negative chi into something positive with this post!
