Rocky Mtn House HS

Adam and I went out to Rocky for his Hare Scramble this weekend. A challenging race because of the mud, guck, and roots along the trail. I hear many people complained about the course because the beginning of the race was tight and  people had little to no opportunity to pass others.

On the way there we saw lots of deer and a moose standing in the middle of the road. Very rare to see moose out in the open like that. We didn’t meet up with our friend the woodchuck this year although I’m not sure I would have liked that adventure again.

On the way back, we ran into quite a hailstorm with hail upto 1″ in diameter!

Adam told me that he believes that the hail was only a max of .5″ diameter.

And he’s ranked 5th in his class for the whole series he’s racing! pretty sweet!
