For about one week Ian and his buddies are going travelling around before they prepare to head back to Canada. I have sent him a list of things that I’d like him to bring back. Hopefully, I’ll get some of them!

well, 2 days ago was probably the worst day.. I was going to buy a
playstation portable with one of the guys going to get his camera and
his girlfriend. we overslept by several hours, got on a wrong train
which turned out to be an express train to yokohama, a city half an
hour south of tokyo. When we got to the place we were supposed to be,
it was already about the time when eveyrthing except bars restaurants
and pachinko parlours close. We walk around an hour, getting lost in
the area until we just decide to go back home. Top it off I missed a
show I wanted to watch. 3 hours of trains and 1 hour of walking =
miserable ian. On the otherhand, yesterday I went to akihabara
electric town and got my psp (mmm. sexy) and 2 games, both of which
give the most fun I’ve had in many years.

I read the first 2 harry potter books in under a week and am going to a major book store tomorrow to see if they have the third (out of the half dozen local book stores nearby, only one has an english ... [Continue reading this entry]

went to the Ghibli studio museum today. Kinda small, not much, and geared toward children but what was there was pretty cool.

This place is much better than the previous residence. It's dormatory style, so we share toilets and showers and kitchen/lounge with everyone else. Much larger, send pictures later.

We went to yokohama (bay city south of tokyo) to visit benny and gavin's host family from last summer and we ended up staying the night (saturday). Good food and we went to some yokohama malls on sunday. It was a great ... [Continue reading this entry]
