Car Blows up in the Middle of Downtown

Yesterday afternoon around 2 pm I was driving my car when the light went off about my coolant temperature. I was in no postion to be pulling over and checking it and I had lots of driving to do for work that I wasn’t going to do anything immediately. At a red light, steam started billowing out of the hood and then a few seconds later and explosion!

AMA gave me priority status since I was blocking the middle lane downtown but I waited 2 hours before anyone showed up!

So for everyone out there, if you are on Priority, the next available truck is supposed to help you and should be withing 20 minutes. I waited 90 before I called them again.

oh my goodness! Did you have a lot of people honking at you?

no no. Hazards flashing… I cannot believe the number of people who do not pay attention to hazards. They pull up right up behind me at a red light and then wonder why I’m not going when it turns green. Even with the hood up too!
