My First Sales Call

Monday, January 29th, 2007

I am one of our sales guy’s assistant as well as the art room manager right now. This salesman is on vacation right now so I’m supposed to look after his clients. Usually, this just involves receiving email and fax orders, writing them up, following them up through the printing process, the occassional call to clarify something and that’s it.
Today I had to actually physically go out and meet people. I wasn’t nervous or anything but I almost landed flat on my butt walking around in the ice and snow in my heels. (I wear sneakers in the office!)

Adam’s Expecting!

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Adam’s going to be a father soon.

He bought a Basset Hound puppy!
I went with him to see the mama and the babies and he picked out a tricolour female.

The Pet Expo was this weekend. Adam and I were surprised when we saw a black bear and Betty the Grizzly Bear there. Many people took advantage of the petting zoo with the wallaby and baby goats etc. This is one place where pets were allowed and many of the booths had treats for pets, not people.
