Today was a good day

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

Today I had to drive some products to the international airport. A nice break from the everyday routine. As I’m driving, the radio starts to play Prince’s “Kiss” came on. And of course, no one(at least not I) can help but smile and sing along to “I just want your extra time and your..(insert kissing noise here x 5)..kiss” At the red light I was dancing in my seat when I trucker pulled up beside me. I caught him looking at me and immediately had to stop…

And now, I’ve just been on my third date with Adam and I’m having a great time. Must be something with this speed dating thing…

giddy, happy. smiley!

;P

In summary, car singing is fun and cheers you up. So is going on a date that went well.

ya!

Facelift/Dating Update

Monday, September 25th, 2006

Ah, ya so the people here at Bootsnall have had a hacker or some kind of server problem and now some of my posts have gone missing and the format/skin of my blog is all outta whack. It’s taken about a day to be able to log into post something as well since they lost all the admin info as well.

In more interesting news, I went speed dating last night. It was quite an experience. Jana, Beau and I all arrived early and once most everyone got there, we had a pre-dating game, people bingo. You know, you need to find people who have done whatever is on the list and put their name beside it. The one with the most names wins a prize. Good little ice breaker to get people to start mingling.

Dates were 6 minutes in length and some girls didn’t show up so there were times when the men had a 6 minute break. I also had a break when Beau reached me. At about the halfway point, we had to turn in our bingo sheets and the restaurant we were at provided appetizers to nibble on.

I was quite picky and didn’t check off interested for very many people at all but it was more about the experience, not looking for a partner.

I think I can safely say that all three of us had a fun time.
