Another day, only 8 to 10 inches of snow on top of the vehicles. Had continental breakfast, discussed the travel with the Deputy Sheriffs and left Eureka, NV at 9:38 AM. Went over three passes(7600,7700,and 7100 feet),through three snow storms, one hail storm and numerous rain showers. Arrived Salina, Utah at Best Western around 5 PM local time. (We lost a hour at time change to Mountain Standard Time.) Overall the roads were clear and wet except for the mile or so of hail which completely covered the road about an inch or so thick. Gas has varied from $2.59 to $2.42 to $2.45 and here at Maverick $2.22
