Away at last. Thirtyminutes late (0930) but what the heck. Turned onto Highway 138 at Sutherlin and had a nice trip to the coast. Reedsport was less than expected. Ate in Florence at Bliss's cafe. Had 50's looks and old (beautiful cars with booths installed between the winshield and rear window. Lots of memoribilia from an old gas pump and oil pump that filled quart containers. A penzoil sign hanging from the ceilling. Well worth the stop without the food. Bea had a bacon,lettuce and tomato sandwich with frenchfries. I had a roast beef,fried onions and cheddar cheese sandwich with frenchfries. Both out of this world delicious. On to Newport past Sea Lion caves. Devils Punch bowl and the Oregon sand dunes. In Newport are the Wax Works, Ripley's Believe it or Not museum andThe Undersea Gardens that we will take in tommorow.
