Fin!

Well, I have had to say goodbye to Cusco, for now. Sunday was spent eating a number of large meals, topped off with a little going away fiesta in the evening. We danced and drank and ate 'till all hours of the night. A great send off. I am really going to miss all of the friends that I have made in Cusco, it's givin me a lot of great memories and experiences.

The better part of my Valentines day was spent at the very romantic Lima airport. I must say that roses in Cusco are very affordable at the local market, about three for a buck, making the Don Juan lifestyle achievable for even the thrifty.

After about 19 hours of travel time and waiting to travel time, I am back in the old US of A. My port of entry was George Bush Intl. airport in Houston, so I quickly got a reminder of what I was bringing myself back into. I missed Peru already.

I am glad I had this great experience, at what I'm sure is still a tender young age. I've learned a whole lot, met some quality people, and I think I now understand just a bit more about the world that I live in. I thank my loving family in Cusco, Silvia and Julio, all of the fine people I've met, and of course my mom and dad, who let it happen for me in the first place.

Thanks to all of you who have been reading along, leaving comments, etc. It's nice to know I had some friends along with me from home for the adventure. So tune in next time for the next exciting tale of passion and heroism. I don't quite know where I'll go yet, but Its sure to be somewhere awesome.

Thanks, bye for now,
Ben

Ben, Thanks for taking time to write your blog (we know it's not as simple as advertised) and taking us along on your adventure. Next time you visit Uncle Warren, we hope to meet you. Meanwhile, what a treasure chest of memories and observations you're accumulating. Keep it up. Cheers!
