Rye oh Rye
Saturday, January 7th, 2006Fiona and I decided a weekend away was in order and Rye was the selected destination. It is in east sussex on the border to kent. It was chosen for its historical significance - it was a pretty important port in it’s time - and also cause it’s supposed to be quite pretty. We were going to go to Hastings due to my ever increasing love of all things medieval and I thought it might be cool to see where the conquest occurred, but Rye won out in the end…
