John Butler Trio rock Brixton

Fiona and I saw John Butler Trio at Brixton Academy last night!

It was my first time seeing them play live, and they were terrific! I was surprised at what a large, round sound they had. Was a bit worried about the venue at first because the support act didn’t come across very well, but JBT blew the roof off!

Anzac Day Ball 23 April 2005 - 90 years since Gallipoli

Katrina won tickets to the ANZAC Day Ball, which included free entry for 6 people and 6 bottles of champagne.

So off we trouped on Saturday night to Abacus bar near Bank. Kat’s two flatmates piked at the last minute so it ended up being just me, Kat, cameron and Fiona for a night on the tiles…
