Took a quick two week trip home in July to visit the family and Luke… mum and dad didn’t know I was coming, so was a great little surprise…When I walked through the door to surprise them, mum looked at me completely blank for about 3 seconds before realising it was me! Was very funny!

I notice I generally only post when I do something outside of London. So I decided to put up a post with a number of things I’ve done in London recently

First of all was the Cheslea vs Man U final to watch at Cassies house…then brunch with Danielle and the gang when she came to visit…then spontaneous picnics in the park…and some more exploring of my local area…

Nic, Carly and I went to Devon for the long weekend in May. We went with the same company I went to Lake District with, and funnily enough, we ended up with the same tour guide, Dave…such a cool fellah.

Weather was a bit off, but we had a great time exploring Exeter, then up on to Dartmoor for cider tasting, caving, and a walk up a ‘Tor’. Plus we had some time in Dartmouth, visited Englands most haunted castle and even got to see a bunch of crazy people chase cheese down a hill in Gloucester.

Had a lovely weekend with Carly and Liz. We did a road trip to Canterbury to check out the cathedral and the surroundings. Was such a lovely day, beautiful blue skies, canola fields in bloom…

GetUp! Action for Australia is my favourite lobbying site and I wanted to post about their latest campaign…

Next Saturday, Kevin Rudd is convening a National Climate Change Summit in Canberra. That’s just over a week until the potential future government of Australia meets to discuss which climate change solutions they’ll implement if elected.

Leaders from government, industry, science and the environment will be there to help formulate policies for the future of Australia. GetUp has also been offered a seat at the table…

Went to Croker Island to visit Rainee, Adrian and Mole Dylan Thomas. I had a really lovely week seeing what life is like for my sister and her family living on a remote island and teaching at an Aboriginal community.
